Earnings

Earnings for June 2021: $2,835

Another suspiciously perfect month! Why? We didn’t get the bill for the well repair until just a few days ago. By that time we had already done our financial statements for the month. We earned well above our actual goal though.

Basically, we are under stating our earnings this month just to err on the safe side. We have literally no idea how much that well bill will be. Could be $500. Could be $5,000.

Starting next month we should be able to get back to reporting our full numbers.

Hours Worked

20… ish

Ok, confession time: I forgot to clock our time this month, so this is a guess. A highball guess at that.

ALL of those hours were spent on the blog and all of them were optional. We are expanding some of our cornerstone content and really taking a deep dive into what we have learned on this journey.

By the way, we worked not one minute on the Amazon storefront. We still got paid, though. And that feels sooo good.

Passive Income From Investments

Our share of earnings from stocks we own: $329!

June was the end of our fiscal quarter and that means we take our share of the profits. As per the usual, we pocketed 1/3, sent 1/3 to the investment account, and reinvested the final 1/3 into the blog and store.

The 1/3 we invested though bought a nice bump in monthly earnings. (Remember our goal was $320).

Total Online And Passive Income

We earned $2,835 in June

Our share of earnings from the stocks we own was $329

Altogether we earned $3,164

We worked for 20 (ish) hours. Therefore we earned $158 per hour

Our Goals For Next Month

Increase our monthly earnings to: $2,870

Increase our share of earnings from equities by 1% (for a new total of $332)

Our total income goal (both active and passive) for June is then: $3,202
