Our Goals for July Were:

Increase our monthly earnings to: $2,870

Increase our share of earnings from equities by 1% (for a new total of $332)

Our total income goal (both active and passive) for July is then: $3,202

Earnings

Earnings for July 2021: $4,045

We had another excellent earnings month! The storefront really shined this month: This was our best single month since the start of the pandemic. (And we’ve had some seriously good months since then).

Hours Worked

40

We stuck to our two-hour-per-day schedule very closely. July is a nice month to work on this stuff because we have very little to do from our day jobs (teachers).

Leslie worked about 4 hours on the store this month. The rest of that has gone into building this site and researching new marketing ideas.

Passive Income From Investments

Our share of earnings from stocks we own: $349!

We still had a good chunk of extra profits to reinvest this month (and still do, I really need to get off my butt and invest more).

Earnings among the S&P 500 have continued their climb back to normal. So general increases among companies, plus a new infusion of reinvested profits means we blew way past our monthly goal (which was $332).

We started this year with about $270 monthly earnings from our investments. That means, just over halfway through the year, we have blown past our goal of increasing these earnings by 15% (we are currently around a 30% increase).

Total Online And Passive Income

We earned $4,045 in July

Our share of earnings from the stocks we own was $349.

Altogether we earned $4,394

We worked for 40 hours. Therefore we earned $109 per hour

Our Goals For Next Month

Increase our monthly earnings to: $2,905

Increase our share of earnings from equities by 1% (for a new total of $352)

Our total income goal (both active and passive) for July is then: $3,257

Books Read This Month
